Post queue and calendar view
Using the Post Queue in List and Calendar View
Aware’s Post Queue gives you two powerful ways to manage your upcoming LinkedIn posts: List view and Calendar view. Whether you’re a visual planner or prefer a streamlined task view, this feature helps you stay on top of your content schedule.
🔁 Where to Find the Post Queue
Navigate to the Post Editor tab in the Write & Publish section, then choose between:
List: A linear, sortable queue of scheduled and available time slots.
Calendar: A full monthly calendar grid showing scheduled and open post times.
Both reflect your active posting schedule based on the time slots you've defined.
📝 List View: Streamlined & Text-First
Best for:
Reviewing copy across all scheduled posts
Making quick edits or reviewing what's scheduled day by day
Moving posts between available time slots
Features:
Shows each date with its scheduled posts and available slots
Click to edit the copy or reschedule posts inline
Highlighted times indicate scheduled content
Grey “Click to schedule a post” rows help fill gaps
✅ Pro Tip: Use List view when finalizing messaging or doing a last QA check before publishing.
📆 Calendar View: Visual & Planning-Friendly
Best for:
Spotting post frequency and gaps at a glance
Planning weekly or monthly campaigns
Collaborating with teams that prefer a birds-eye view
Features:
Full monthly grid with scheduled posts shown in teal
“Available Slot” placeholders show remaining unused slots
Click any slot to assign a post, or drag-and-drop from the drafts tab
✅ Pro Tip: Use Calendar view for campaign planning or content sprints—it’s your editorial calendar in visual form.
⚙️ Pro Workflow Tips
Use both views together: Draft in List, plan in Calendar.
Color-coded context: Blue-green = scheduled, gray = available.
Schedule from the Drafts tab right into a time slot.
Preview copy inline before making edits or changes.
Why This Matters
Consistent posting builds momentum—and visibility—on LinkedIn. Using the queue efficiently ensures you never miss a beat, while also helping you avoid over-posting or bunching content too closely together.
Whether you're flying solo or managing a team schedule, these two views make content ops easier than ever.
