How to manage replies quickly

Responding to comments on your posts shouldn’t take all day. In fact, it should only take a few minutes, unless you’re Jasmin Alic! (and even HE uses Aware to manage it faster!)

How can it be so quick? Well, don’t overthink it!

Sometimes I write comments that I spend more than a minute or two on. Those are great. That's if I REALLY love a certain post or have something deeper to say. Or if I really need to review context in depth before responding.

I have a few different ways of writing comments:

  1. Just writing whatever comes to mind (this is the most common, and I think people would benefit from doing it more! write what you actually think, not what you think will be 'popular' or 'align with your brand')

  2. Repurposing themes I've written about before

  3. Skipping it entirely, if I find that I don't have anything at all that's worthwhile to say!

Of course, there are exceptions to this: if you're replying to someone in your network, or to a prospect, or someone you know well - you may want to spend longer than 11 seconds on that comment.

But when it comes to engaging with people you don't know, or writing 'cold' comments on posts? It can be quick!
