Connecting Your LinkedIn Profile

Welcome to Aware! We're happy to have you. Our onboarding process will guide you to set up the connection between your LinkedIn account and Aware.

Connecting to Aware

To connect your LinkedIn account to Aware, follow these steps:

  1. Install our Chrome Extension, if you haven't already

  2. Log into LinkedIn.com in your Google Chrome browser window

  3. Sign into Aware at app.useaware.co

  4. You might need to wait for 10-20 seconds to allow the connection to establish.

That's it!

Note: To disconnect Aware from LinkedIn, just "log out" of your LinkedIn profile.

Troubleshooting

  1. Disconnections: If you see a red "please reconnect" banner within our app, simply repeat these steps to reestablish the connection.

  2. Other Browsers: We can't guarantee that Aware will work on browsers other than Google Chrome. It usually does, but we've seen occasional issues here and there.

  3. Multiple Profiles: If you have access to multiple LinkedIn profiles, please make sure you're logging into only your LinkedIn profile in your main browser window.


    Follow this link for special instructions if you're a consultant or agency and you're operating multiple profiles! In short: you'll want to use Chrome Profiles to connect each LinkedIn profile you may be logging into other than your own.
